Calendar. Weather. Markets. Art.

One frame does the jobs you juggle.

Calendar, weather, markets, posters, real art: the things you frame, tape up, or wire to a Raspberry Pi, now in one display.

Pick a mode and PRTL builds the visual for you: live weather, your calendar, market charts, real museum artwork, or original art from a 46-style library of physical media. Art is one mode of many, and the system does the work. Each mode is drawn when you apply it and holds until you apply again. (Your own photo albums, scheduled switching, and self-refresh are in development.)

Daily rhythm

One frame covers the whole day.

Set the morning calendar, the midday markets, the evening art: one frame handles jobs you'd otherwise split across several gadgets. Today each change is one tap in the app. (Automatic time-of-day switching and your own photo albums are in development.)

Breadth is the moat

Replace the gadgets you've cobbled together.

A framed calendar. A Raspberry Pi stock ticker. Posters you got bored of. Prints you paid to reframe. PRTL folds all of those jobs into one frame you run from your phone, plus jobs a poster never could, like live weather, your calendar, and market charts, each rebuilt on demand. Single-purpose frames do one job each; a blank prompt box only makes art, and only if you are good at prompting. PRTL ships a 46-style library of physical media instead of a blank box, so the system writes the prompt. Breadth is the point. See how PRTL compares below.

Browse PRTL modes

Modes are the jobs your frame can do: calendar, weather, markets, posters, real art, and more. Each one maps to something you already want; tune it to your space and taste. The live-data modes read real data at the moment you apply them, then the frame holds that image until you apply again. Scheduled switching and self-refresh are in development, and modes marked in development are not generating yet. Preview below.

Style libraries

Pick a medium, not a prompt.

Two modes ship a curated library instead of a blank box. Art Generator names 46 physical media, because canvas weave, ink misregistration and a pressed plate mark are things you can still read from four metres back. Motto ships 18 typographic treatments. You choose the one you want and the system writes the prompt.
